Quote
"—-Sansa sat with her hands folded in her lap, watching with a strange fascination. She had never seen a man die before. She ought to be crying too, she thought, but the tears would not come. Perhaps she had used up all her tears for Lady and Bran. It would be different if it had been Jory or Ser Rodrik or Father, she told herself. The young man in the blue cloak was nothing to her, some stranger from the Vale of Arryn whose name she had forgotten as soon as she heard it. And now the world would forget his name too, Sansa realized; there would be no songs sung for him. That was sad."

From “A Game of Thrones”, by George RR Martin

She was always hard underneath. Not a silly girl for very long, not in the books, and not in the TV-show.

Those things that people do which are just attractive, like: I personally don’t find you attractive in general but you just fucking put your pen in your mouth while you typed something and your sleeves are rolled up so I would.

Game of Thrones: Objects

↳ “Needle”

“It’s just a stupid sword,” she said, aloud this time…
… but it wasn’t.
Needle was Robb and Bran and Rickon, her mother and her father, even Sansa. Needle was Winterfell’s grey walls, and the laughter of its people. Needle was the summer snows, Old Nan’s stories, the heart tree with its red leaves and scary face, the warm earthy smell of the glass gardens, the sound of the north wind rattling the shutters of her room. Needle was Jon Snow’s smile.”

Quote
"Years passed, as the mighty armies clashed. And then, silence. No one knows exactly what happened in the final battle. And no one knows how it came to end. All that is known is that one man strode from the wreckage, one man walked free from the ruins of Gallifrey and Skaro. The Time Lord called the Doctor. And his hearts were heavy as he boarded his ship once more, and took to the skies, to escape everything he had just seen; everything he had just done."

written by Russell T Davies in the Doctor Who 2006 Annual

  • to escape everything he had just seen
  • everything he had just seen
  • seen
  • SEEN
  • everything he had just done
  • huh.
  • i really want to know how fake memories were planted in his head to make him think that he had just witnessed the destruction of his home planet at his own hand *glares at the 50th suspiciously*

Upon rewatching S1 and the incredible density and emotion from Nine, that character raw with guilt, fresh from war, with love overflowing him, all I can do is wonder why destroy that? Why make all the hurt and conflict disappear for the sake of yet another plot twist? Why invalidate all of Nine story arch? Why did Moffat needed to change that? Can’t he just destroy his seasons and leave the good plots unspoiled?

I love this quote. I love this movie.

This scene impressed me so much when I first saw it. It still fills me with… idk something. I love it.

Still one of my favorite lines from a movie ever.
